Amazonian mascot, you can easily recognize it by his large beak and his amazing colors, the toucan is one of the most beautifull bird if Amazonia. Like his cousin, the parrot, it is difficult to see it free as he live at the top of the trees eating fruits and seeds. You can often hear it but you will approach only the captive one or those who live in half-freedom. It is quite easy to domesticate it, but once domesticated he cannot return to his environment. If you regularly give him food he settle around your house, if you have a house in the middle of the jungle... If you have this chance and if a toucan has choosen your house, you will see a friendly bird enjoying and playing with you, a little bit thief (a lot...) who knows how to be accepted by your others pets...
